FANBOY BY MARK SABLAN Last Sunday, before I headed to the supermarket to do the groceries, I dropped by my grandmother’s room to make mano and say goodbye. She was watching Party Pilipinas on GMA 7 and right at that very moment, I saw Dennis Trillo promoting the latest issue of Inside Showbiz magazine (where he is on the cover). After inviting everyone to grab a copy of the mag, he then thanked me. “Maraming salamat nga pala kay Mark Sablan,” he said. I was holding my one-year old daughter and I swear I nearly dropped her out of kilig. I don’t get greeted by celebrities on a daily basis so when an artista does this on national TV, the effect is really huge. I was already throwing cans of tuna inside my shopping cart and I was still smiling. I was that ecstatic. My grandmother didn’t hear it. My daughter didn’t understand. My friends didn’t catch the show. I don’t care. Dennis Trillo greeted me on national TV. Have you ever been greeted by a celeb on TV?
