Hear ye, hear ye!

I just discovered something really cool that all music-lovers will surely love: headphones from The House of Marley.

So many reasons why they rock—and why I am a fan.

They’re created by Rohan Marley, who is the sixth eldest son of iconic musician Bob Marley.

They’re green! Packaging makes use of recycled paper and plastic, plus the actual earphones use recycled aluminum and FSC certified wood for casing.

They give back. The House of Marley donated five percent of its annual profits to 1Love.org.

They look good. The Positive Vibrations on-ear headphones look really, really good; they’re such scenestealers! I like the simplicity of the people Get Ready in-ear headphones though. But I am very, very happy with my pair of Smile Jamaica in-ear headphones. I love the braided tangle-free cord. And its noise-cancelling ability is very impressive!

They work. I mean, whenever I listen to my favorite Manilyn Reynes song (“Sayang na Sayang”), I am always fulfilled because the sound is crisp and clear, and I get the right amount of bass. Lovely! Just like the Star of the New Decade.
