Angel is one of the country’s sexiest female celebrities; it wouldn’t surprise anyone if Phil would be jealous of the guys paired with Angel. “Walang problema kasi sobrang professional si Angel and artista siya so it’s work for her. Walang problema,” explained the footballer at the press conference for his newest endorsement deal, for Aronamin Gold Multivatimins. As a matter of fact Phil is happy and proud of Angel’s accomplishments, including her upcoming movie with John Lloyd Cruz, Star Cinema’s Unofficially Yours. It’s been nearly a year since the Azkals player asked Angel to be her Valentine’s date via social networking site Twitter. Angel initially turned him down before eventually taking up his offer. The rest as they say is history. Even if they’re both in the public eye, Phil’s shared that he prefers to keep his Valentine’s Day plans with Angel private. “Surprise, secret!” joked the footballer.  However, he did reveal that he intends to give Angel a memorable V-Day gift. “Every day I love Angel more and more and I think [that] Angel, no matter [what] I get her, she’ll be happy. It’s always sentimental, so Angel is happy no matter what I get her,” he shared. According to Phil, labels and statuses have no meaning in their relationship and they plan to keep it that way. “Hindi ko alam ‘yung tamang label or title pero alam ko, sobrang masaya siya ngayon. Hindi ko pa rin alam, wala pa ring title or status but we’re very happy and sana it continues… I mean me and Angel, we talk. We’re officially together pero walang title,” he explained.
