BY JAMIE ORTEGA Sarah Geronimo is no stranger to performing. After all she is one of the biggest and most sought-after singers in the country. However, this is Sarah’s first time to helm and host her own weekly musical show, and the singer is feeling both nervous and excited. The name of the show is Sarah G Live! and it will premiere on February 19, replacing the top-rating Gandang Gabi Vice. At the launch of her newest Jollibee endorsement last January 25 at Greenmeadows Libis, Sarah said that she is challenged by her new project. “Siyempre, kinakabahan po. Siyempre, hindi naman po ito ASAP na marami kaming artists na magdadala. Yong pangalan ko po mismo ang naka-front, Sarah G. Live!,” she explained. Even if she sings almost every day, Sarah revealed that she still experiences stage fright. “Every time I go onstage to perform, I am not that confident. I still get nervous. Doing this show every Sunday is like doing a concert at the Araneta week after week,” said the singer who had to give up being part of the Sunday noontime show ASAP 2012 for this new project. Sarah will also be interviewing various celebrity guests throughout the show. According to the singer she was advised by the producers and production staff to be natural. “Sabi nila maging natural lang ako kapag nag-i-interview. Parang gusto lang nilang makita pa kung ano si Sarah Geronimo. Hindi lang as a performer, gusto pa nilang makilala ako. So, good luck sa akin, good luck sa mga mapapanood ninyo.
